Omar Suleiman is an Islamic scholar and Imam currently in Irving, Texas. He is and has been the leader of numerous Muslim Brotherhood organizations across America, advocates against liberty, and promotes barbaric sharia (Islamic Law).
Yet, elected officials, pastors, and citizens across Texas welcome this jihadi with open arms.
In May 2019, Suleiman offered the invocation on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in response to an invitation by U.S. Congresswoman Bernice Johnson of Dallas, Texas.
Omar Suleiman’s Muslim Brotherhood Leadership Roles
Suleiman teaches sharia and jihad at the Al Maghrib Institute, a Muslim Brotherhood operation which has produced a large number of jihadis over the years including Tarek Mehanna, Ramy Zam Zam, Daniel Maldonado and Nuradin Abdi among others.
Suleiman also served as the Imam of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Jefferson Muslim Association in New Orleans, Louisiana for six years.
In the largest terrorism financing trial ever successfully prosecuted in U.S. history – U.S. v Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, Northern District of Texas (Dallas) 2008 – the Department of Justice identified the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) as a Muslim Brotherhood entity which provided money directly to the terrorist group Hamas overseas.
The Jefferson Muslim Association is owned by NAIT, the bank for the Muslim Brotherhood in North America.
Suleiman also served as a Director for the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), also identified by the U.S. government as a part of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood’s network in the US v HLF trial. ICNA’s training program for youth and adults in the U.S. (page 117) calls for muslims to “wage war” against non-muslims until an Islamic State is established under sharia (Islamic Law).
The By-Laws of the Muslim Brotherhood state the Brotherhood was created to “fight the tyrants and enemies of Allah as a prelude to establishing the Islamic State.”
Suleiman is the Founder and President of the Irving based Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, whose “Team” is a Who’s Who of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.
Suleiman is also the resident Scholar at the Valley Ranch Islamic Center in Irving, Texas, yet another property owned by Muslim Brotherhood’s North American Islamic Trust (NAIT).
Omar Suleiman’s Overt Jihadi Actions
Omar Suleiman organized a rally and jummah prayers on December 8th, 2017 in front of the White House and tweeted, “Be sure to join us tomorrow in front of the White House for jummah and in protest of Trump’s Jerusalem declaration.” The rally claimed to challenge the legitimacy of the State of Israel.
Suleiman explains his parents were “displaced Palestinians due to the occupation” and he has proclaimed himself to be a champion “of the Palestinian cause”; called Zionists “enemies of God”, and references Israel’s military operations as “massacres.”
Omar Suleiman has called for the 3rd Intifada (war) against the Israelis.
On March 5th 2018 Omar Suleiman was arrested on Capitol Hill with senior leaders of Muslim Brotherhood’s jihadi Movement in the U.S. including Linda Sarsour, Dawud Walid, Zahra Billoo and Nihad Awad, the leader of Hamas in the U.S. (CAIR). [The terrorist group Hamas is an inherent part of the Muslim Brotherhood.]
The group was arrested for protesting in support of legislation to protect unauthorized immigrants brought to the U.S. as children.
On January 19, 2019 Omar Suleiman and 32 others were arrested at the Tijuana/San Diego Border as part of the “Love Knows No Borders” movement in support of immigrants and asylum seekers. The focus of this is to reduce U.S. border security and screening for those illegally entering the United States.
Suleiman was a speaker at the ICNA-MAS convention in Washington D.C. on April 19-21, 2019 (Easter weekend). As stated above, the ICNA-MAS training guide calls muslims to “wage war” against non-muslims to establish an Islamic State under Islamic Law (sharia), which are the stated objectives of Al Qaeda and the Islamic State.
Other speakers at the ICNA-MAS convention were U.S. Hamas leader (CAIR) Nihad Awad and fellow jihadi Siraj Wahhaj. Wahhaj’s children were recently arrested after authorities discovered two separate terrorist training camps were discovered, which taught children to commit acts of terrorism.
Suleiman will be the keynote speaker at ICNA-MAS Annual Convention December 27-29, 2019. The three founders of the Muslim American Society (MAS) were senior Muslim Brotherhood leaders in the United States when MAS was established in 1993, including the leaders of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood at the time Ahmed El-Kadi.
In the US v Sabri Benkhala appellate case involving terrorism, the U.S. government officially stated “MAS was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.”
The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) drives much of the Interfaith Outreach programs in America and propagates a false narrative about Islam, and equates it to Christianity and Judaism. Suleiman is the Co-Chair of Faith Forward Dallas at Thanks-Giving Square, a “multi-faith alliance.”
Omar is an experienced islamic scholar and leading the Islamic education in Texas – he understands Sharia. With this in mind, here are a few of the items directly from authoritative Islamic Law (Sharia):
“Jihad means to war against non-muslims…jihad is a communal obligation (o9.1)…jihad is personally obligatory (09.2)…” from [Reliance of the Traveller, Islamic Sacred Law]
“When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed.” [Reliance of the Traveller, o8.0]
“The following are not subject to retaliation (4) a father or mother for killing their offspring or offspring’s offspring.” [Reliance of the Traveller, o1.2]
“Permissible Lying…it is permissible to lie if the goal is permissible and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory.” [Reliance of the Traveller, r8.2]
Omar Suliman is extremely active in the Dallas area, and is described as a “rising star.” He is listed as one of 25 influential American Muslimsand was able to persuade google to alter its algorithm so searches on Islamic words will result in a softer definition, often being objectively false.
One example is the word “taqiyya.” Taqiyya is a form of permissible lying in Islam. However, as the photo below shows, a google search of “taqiyya” will produce the “definition” the word means, “Prudence, Fear” which is exactly what this word does not mean in Islamic law (sharia).
Every citizen, local official, businessman or woman, pastor, or anyone else in Texas providing a platform to Omar Suleiman is helping America’s enemy move their agenda forward and put Texans in greater danger.
Those who wish to argue that Suleiman wears a suit and is “nice” should consider that Suleiman is overtly sharia-adherent and works to impose sharia on others, making him a “Jihadi” by definition. If being “nice” gets you to surrender to him, he will do it.
We are at war. Texans need to begin acting like it and hold their local and state officials to a higher standard of adherence to their oaths of office.
Understanding the Threat is the only organization in the nation giving citizens, police, and local officials tools to identify jihadis, map out the jihadi networks in your local area, and dismantle these networks.
We need you to help us in this fight and educate your elected officials, school board members, pastors and your entire community!

underbed catJune 17, 2019 at 9:16 amReplyThe’ Words Matter Memo” PSD -11 was firmly in place, the 9/11 Commission Report was removed from book stores, and new editions purged, maybe some got out, so one ex-President maybe slightly uncomfortable, but not completely convinced, the other will be relieved that the two faces of some words prohibited and some nice words are not understood, except by those islamophobes, and racists, that no one will believe anyway. You know it is a conspiracy theory, of hate of a religion, by the racists that are so rampant. And besides most supporters, support and trust unconditionally, no need to explain further. The country has been sufficiently retrained to prevent resistance. “Just stay calm”.
A 37-year-old Muslim migrant in Rome was recently arrested for homicide after he stabbed a Christian man in the throat for wearing a crucifix around his neck. “Religious hate” is cited as an “aggravating factor” in the crime.
This is hardly the first “religious hate” crime to occur in the context of the cross in Italy. Among others,
The fact is, Islamic hostility to the cross is an unwavering phenomenon—one that crosses continents and centuries; one that is very much indicative of Islam’s innate hostility to Christianity.
For starters, not only is the cross the quintessential symbol of Christianity—for all denominations, including most forms of otherwise iconoclastic Protestantism—but it symbolizes the fundamental disagreement between Christians and Muslims. As Professor Sidney Griffith explains, “The cross and the icons publicly declared those very points of Christian faith which the Koran, in the Muslim view, explicitly denied: that Christ was the Son of God and that he died on the cross.” Accordingly, “the Christian practice of venerating the cross … often aroused the disdain of Muslims,” so that from the start of the Muslim conquests of Christian lands there was an ongoing “campaign to erase the public symbols of Christianity, especially the previously ubiquitous sign of the cross.”
This “campaign” traces back to the Muslim prophet Muhammad. He reportedly “had such a repugnance to the form of the cross that he broke everything brought into his house with its figure upon it,” wrote one historian (Sword and Scimitar, p. 10). Muhammad also claimed that at the end times Jesus (the Muslim ‘Isa) himself would make it a point to “break the cross.”
Modern day Muslim clerics confirm this. When asked about Islam’s ruling on whether any person—in this case, Christians—is permitted to wear or pray before the cross, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Tarifi, a Saudi expert on Islamic law, said, “Under no circumstances is a human permitted to wear the cross” nor “is anyone permitted to pray to the cross.” Why? “Because the prophet—peace and blessings on him—commanded the breaking of it [the cross].”
Islamic history is a reflection of these sentiments. For instance, the aforementioned Sheikh al-Tarifi also explained that if it is too difficult to break the cross—for instance, a large concrete statue—Muslims should at least try to disfigure one of its four arms “so that it no longer resembles a cross.” Historic and numismatic evidence confirms that, after the Umayyad caliphate seized the Byzantine treasury in the late seventh century, it ordered that one or two arms of the cross on the coins be effaced so that the image no longer resembled a crucifix (Sword and Scimitar, p. 54).
Testimonies from the very earliest invasions into Christian Syria and Egypt of Muslims systematically breaking every crucifix they encountered abound. According to Anastasius of Sinai, who lived during the seventh century Arab conquests, “the demons name the Saracens [Arabs/Muslims] as their companions. And it is with reason. The latter are perhaps even worse than the demons,” for whereas “the demons are frequently much afraid of the mysteries of Christ,” among which he mentions the cross, “these demons of flesh trample all that under their feet, mock it, set fire to it, destroy it” (Sword and Scimitar, p. 27).
Reminiscent of the recent drawing of a cross in fecal matter on a French church, in 1147 in Portugal, Muslims displayed “with much derision the symbol of the cross. They spat upon it and wiped the feces from their posteriors with it.” Decades earlier in Jerusalem, Muslims “spat on them [crucifixes] and did not even refrain from urinating on them in the sight of all.” Even that supposedly “magnanimous” sultan, Saladin, commanded “whoever saw that the outside of a church was white, to cover it with black dirt,” and ordered “the removal of every cross from atop the dome of every church in the provinces of Egypt” (Sword and Scimitar, pp. 171, 145, 162).
Lest Muslim hostility to the cross still seem aberrant—limited to some obscure saying of Muhammad or “ancient history”—below is a very partial list of examples of how the crucifix continues to throw even “everyday” Muslims into paroxysms:
Egypt: A young Coptic Christian woman named Mary was mauled to death when her cross identified her as a Christian to Muslim Brotherhood rioters. Similarly, 17-year-old Ayman, a Coptic student, was strangled and beaten to death by his Muslim teacher and fellow students for refusing to obey the teacher’s orders to cover his cross.
Pakistan: When a Muslim man saw Julie Aftab, a Christian woman, wearing a cross around her neck, he attacked her, forced battery acid down her throat, and splashed it on her face—permanently damaging her esophagus, blinding her in one eye, and causing her to lose both eyelids and most of her teeth.
Maldives: Authorities had to rescue a female Christian teacher after Muslim “parents threatened to tie and drag her off of the island” for “preaching Christianity.” Her crime was to draw a compass—which was mistakenly taken for a cross—as part of a geography lesson in class.
As Islam’s presence continues to grow in Europe, it should come as no surprise that attacks on crosses are also on the rise. Aside from the aforementioned attacks in Italy, the following occurred either in France and Germany, where attacks on churches and crosses have become endemic:
A Muslim man committed major acts of vandalism at two churches, including by twisting a massive bronze cross. (Click for images.)
A Muslim man who checked himself into a hospital for treatment went into a sudden frenzy because there were “too many crosses on the wall.” He called the nurse a “bitch” and “fascist” and became physically aggressive.
After Muslims were granted their own section at a cemetery, and after being allowed to conduct distinctly Islamic ceremonies, these same Muslims began demanding that Christian symbols and crosses in the cemetery be removed or covered up during Islamic funerals.
A German language report from notes that in the Alps and in Bavaria alone, some 200 churches have been attacked and many crosses broken: “The perpetrators are often youthful rioters with a migration background.”
In light of the above, it should come as no surprise that groups such as the Islamic State also make hostile references to the cross in their communiqués to the West: “We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah[.] … [We will cast] fear into the hearts of the cross-worshipers[.]” The Islamic State even once disseminated a video showing its members smashing crosses in and atop several churches in territories under its sway (since taken down by YouTube); it beheaded and stabbed a man with his own crucifix; and it published pictures of its members destroying Christian crosses and tombstones in cemeteries under its jurisdiction.
Similarly, in post “Arab Spring” Libya, a video of a Muslim mob attacking a commonwealth cemetery near Benghazi appeared on the internet. As the Muslims kicked down and destroyed headstones with crosses on them, the man videotaping them urged them to “break the cross of the dogs!” while he and others cried “Allahu akbar!” Toward the end of the video, the mob congregated around the huge Cross of Sacrifice, the cemetery’s cenotaph monument, and started to hammer at it, to more cries of “Allahu akbar.” Other Christian cemeteries in Libya have suffered similarly.
In Iraq, pictures emerged from a Christian cemetery that was vandalized by the Islamic State. Broken and scattered crosses appear. In one picture, the jihadis broke into a coffin, snapped off the head of the withered corpse, and threw the crucifixes surrounding it on the ground.
Such is the history and continuity of Islamic hate for the cross—that symbol which represents the heart of the Christian faith, namely the death and resurrection of Christ, two events Islam vehemently denies.
The jihad on the cross began with Muhammad, was carried out by early caliphs, and continues to this day by the jihadis of the world, not to mention the occasional “everyday” Muslim.
JUN 2, 2019 10:00 AM BY HUGH FITZGERALD29 COMMENTSThe greatest divide within the world-wide Ummah, the community of Muslim believers, is that between the Arabs, who are 20% of the world’s Muslims, and non-Arab Muslims, who constitute 80% of Muslims world-wide.Arabs have long believed, and acted, as if they are superior to non-Arab Muslims. And many non-Arab Muslims appear to share that view. The Qur’an was given, after all, to a 7th century Arab, and in his language, Arabic. A Muslim must prostrate himself in prayer five times a day, turning toward Mecca, in Arabia. If he can afford it, he must at least once in his lifetime perform the Hajj in Mecca. He should ideally read, memorize, and recite the Qur’an in Arabic. All this promotes the prestige of Arabs within Islam. Many non-Arab converts assume Arab names at the time of their conversion. And many non-Arab Muslims, especially in Pakistan, appropriate the word “Sayyid” as part of their name, intending to signify that they are descendants of the Quraysh, the tribe of Muhammad.Among non-Arab Muslims who have suffered from Arab depredations, and from other Muslims too, none have suffered as much as the Kurds. The Kurds are the largest ethnic group without a state of their own. There are about 35 million Kurds world-wide. Of that number, there are 12 million in Turkey, 6 million in Iran, about 5 to 6 million in Iraq, and less than 2 million in Syria, which adds up to close to 28 million. Another 7 million are spread throughout the Middle East and Europe. After the breakup of the Ottoman Empire after World War I, plans were made for a mandate that would prepare the Kurds for self-rule in an independent Kurdistan. Those plans were scuttled when Turkey, having recovered somewhat from its defeat in the war, objected to any Kurdish state.Divided among four countries — Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria — the Kurds have been routinely oppressed by Turks, Persians, and Arabs. Saddam Hussein’s Operation Anfal, during which his Arab soldiers killed 182,000 Kurds, is the greatest atrocity the Kurds have ever suffered. Saddam not only murdered Kurds on an industrial scale (for example, by gassing Kurds in Halabja), but moved Arabs onto Kurdish lands in an attempt to arabize Kurdish Iraq. The Americans protected the Kurds after the Gulf War, providing air cover so that Saddam could not use his air force to bomb the Kurds. Iraqi Kurds thus enjoyed a de facto autonomy; for that, they were, and remain, tremendously grateful to the Americans. American soldiers in Iraq frequently commented on how friendly the Kurds were, as compared to the Arab soldiers. The Americans in Iraq took their R & R in the Kurdish-held territories, with no fears for their safety. When ISIS appeared, while the Arab soldiers ran from Mosul, the Kurds proved to be the best fighters against ISIS, in both Iraq and Syria, frequently fighting alongside American units. Now Iraqi Arabs are trying to re-arabize lands that had once been Kurdish, then arabized — settled by Arabs — under Saddam, and then re-taken and re-settled (“de-arabized”) by the Kurds after Saddam was removed. Here’s the story:“Locals from a predominately-Kurdish town outside of Kirkuk claimed that a large number of Arabs “carrying firearms,” forcefully invaded their homes on Tuesday. Villagers responded by contacting the Iraqi Army, who are responding to the incident.“Today more than 300 Arabs broke into Palkana village to invade and once again Arabize the village,” Badradin Yousef, a member of the Sargaran Township Council, told Rudaw.“Palkana village is near Sargaran town, west of Kirkuk city. Despite the declared defeat of the Islamic State (ISIS) in 2017, the village and surrounding areas have been a hotbed for the extremist group’s lingering, deadly remnants.‘According to Yousif, Arabs who had previously settled in the area, returned to the village in 25 vehicles and were carrying weapons.“Those Arabs, who had been transferred to Arabize the area during the Baath regime and later fled, are now coming back with the support of the Kirkuk governor, invading our properties … and wanting to confiscate our lands,” said Yousif.“Yousif added the township council informed the Iraqi army “immediately” and called on them to come to the aid of Kurdish inhabitants of the village.“The Iraqi army has mobilized us all in one place and surrounded all the people including the villagers and the Arabs” he said. According to Yousif, the village is currently held by the Iraqi Army’s 14th Commando Force, but another force will soon arrive.“A villager from Palkana, who agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity told Rudaw TV by phone on Tuesday afternoon, claimed the returnees have “invaded five households so far” and were still in the village.“The villager claims that the group arrived in “armed Humvees” and “stormed Kurdish households.”‘The villager said he and his Kurdish neighbours have shown documents, including land deeds, to the Iraqi forces to prove the properties belong to them.“The villagers lay partial blame on the attacks on the Kurdish parties. They say that they have contacted Kurdish parties, security and government departments in Kirkuk to help stop the seizure of lands, but not received support or a response.“Vian Sabri, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Iraqi parliament called the situation in Palkana and the attacks on village “not legal”, “unconstitutional”, and “inhumane” in a tweet on Tuesday.“Hatam Taii, a spokesperson for Arabs in Kirkuk told Rudaw English they have “official proof” and documents from the 1940s and 1950s that the area belongs to the Shammar, a large Arab tribe. Taii said that there are many sides who would have attempted to escalate the situation for political reasons, but that “the determining factor between all has to be the law.”“Arabs from elsewhere in Iraq were brought into the disputed areas of Kirkuk largely between 1970 and 1978. The Arabization of the province has been a historical flashpoint between Baghdad and the Kurds.“After 2003 and the fall of the Baath regime, Iraq began a policy of de-Arabization to reverse the demographic changes, within the framework of Article 140. Lands that had been confiscated from Kurds and Turkmen were returned, while the Arabs who had been settled there by the Baathists were given financial compensation.“Following the events of October 16, 2017 with the Iraqi federal forces taking over most of the disputed areas claimed by Baghdad and Erbil, many Kurdish villagers fled the area fearing violence from Iraqi and Shiite armed groups. Since then [late 2017], Kurdish locals in the area have alleged that a “re-Arabization” of the region is underway.“Acting Kirkuk Governor Rakan al-Jabouri issued 14 decrees seizing land owned by Kurds and giving it to Arabs, before Iraq’s Federal Court rescinded his decrees in December.“ISIS remnants have remained active in the region. Since early April, the elite US-trained Iraqi Counterterrorism Service (ICTS) has conducted large scale operations in and around Kirkuk.“Last month, (Asayesh) Kurdish security arrested a man who confessed to being “in charge of the transfer of Daesh militants from Kirkuk and Hawija to Palkana.”
Of course the American government should take the side of the Kurds, who have been our allies through thick and thin, and whose lands these clearly were, until Saddam’s policy of “arabizing” the Kurdish north forced the Kurds out, and Arabs moved in. After Saddam’s overthrow, the Arabs left the Kurdish territories, and Kurds returned to reclaim their lands. Now the Arabs are back, trying once again to lay violent claim to these lands. The American government can help the Kurds resist this without sending any more troops on the ground. It can threaten that if the government in Baghdad does not prevent armed Arab groups from seizing Kurdish lands in the north, then America will cut its aid to Iraq, which has amounted to tens of billions of dollars, and continues still to be very high, with $454 million from USAID, and $3.7 billion in aid from all agencies, in 2018-2019. That threat is sure to get the attention of Baghdad. We should be supplying Kurdish forces in both Iraq and Syria with as much weaponry as they can handle. They have proven their mettle as fighters against ISIS, have been our steadfast allies, but they are greatly outnumbered by the Arab militaries in Syria and Iraq. American weapons, if provided to the Kurds in sufficient quantity, could give them a fighting chance. And if there were any threats by the Iraqi Arabs to bomb Kurds, the American Air Force could do what it did when Saddam was in power: supply air cover for the Kurds.
In Syria, Bashar Assad cannot be more angry than he already is with the Americans for their alliance with the Kurds in Rojava, but there is nothing he can do to prevent further weapons deliveries from the U.S. to the Kurds. In Iraq the Arab-dominated government will have to decide if it wants to support the re-arabization of Kurdish lands, or if it wants to continue receiving vital American aid; it can’t have both.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey, and Ayatollah Khameini in Iran, will be furious with further American military support for Iraqi Kurds, naturally fearing the boost that will give to Kurds in Turkey and Iran harboring secessionist designs and hopes for an independent Kurdistan. But why should we care? Turkey is no longer our friend, and Iran is our enemy. Save for the Israelis, the Kurds have been our steadiest allies in the Middle East. In their attempt to prevent the re-arabizing of Kurdish lands, they deserve our support.
